  FVE GENERAL ASSEMBLY HELD IN BRUSSELS
ON 8 FEBRUARY 2003

"During an FVE extra General Assembly held on 8 February in Brussels, the Board has given in their notice. The General Assembly has appointed Marc Janssens, in conjunction with the FVE Section' Presidents to oversee FVE business and organise elections to replace the Board.

The Interim Board will consist of:

·                Marc Janssens (Belgium)

·                Rémi Gellé (France - President of the Union of European Veterinary Practitioners [UEVP])

·                Margareta Widell (Sweden - President of the Union of European Veterinary Hygienists [UEVH])

·                Declan O'Rourke (Ireland - President of the European Federation of Veterinarians in Industry [FEVIR])

·                Romano Zilli (Italy - President of the European Union of State Veterinary Officers [EASVO])".
